Fine Art America

Created a new website with Fine Art America. What I like about it is it allows viewers to shop and get Giclée on stretched canvas prints, framed and poster/art prints as well as greeting cards made from my art images. I don't have to do any of the preparing, shipping of the art, etc. That is unless I sell the original piece. All I really have to do is upload my images.

paintings, march 2009

After the dozen pieces were installed at Blackfish I took pictures of them. Had to clean up with Photoshop the wall background on the paintings and uploaded these to my art site yesterday. They are arranged in the order (approximately) that I worked on them>> Paintings, March 2009.

blog, why not

I have facebook, twitter and a couple days ago tumblr. So I guess a blog is the next step. I'm not sure exactly the reason for all this. I had an art site for a long time where I made hardly any changes. Maybe all these other stuff is where I can note down passing things, because before you can say whoa, they're gone. One thing that attracts me to blogging is the opportunity to improve on my writing--putting down thoughts on paper, or in this case a flat panel monitor, has always been a challenge. And it's so easy to create links, as well as edit a post. Two days later, I'm still revising this paragraph.
